Robin L. Deshayes, Managing Director
Ms. Deshayes co-founded Miltonian in 2010 and serves as its chief executive and market strategist. She investigates, analyzes and researches macro trends in the credit markets with a focus on uncovering new investing opportunities and relative value across credit sectors.  With her extensive business, finance and legal background, she excels at researching and analyzing difficult credit situations, such a municipal bankruptcies. Prior to co-founding Miltonian, Ms. Deshayes served as the primary asset management and legal advisor to a private trust, consulting in a variety of areas including finance, business development, M&A and legal matters. She also served at Pacificor LLC as a business development and marketing consultant focused on the area of mortgage-backed securities. Ms. Deshayes was a key employee at Core Wealth Management LLC, an asset manager specializing in high yield fixed income strategies for high net worth and institutional investors.  There she was involved in a variety of areas, including marketing, legal and compliance, trading, and fund accounting. Prior relevant experience includes senior executive positions at technology and consumer companies.

Ms. Deshayes holds a MBA from Pepperdine University, and a law degree from Loyola Law School, as well as a BS in Biology from UCLA. She is a member of the State Bar of California. Ms. Deshayes successfully completed the Series 65 exam.

Christopher Haupert, Director of Operations
Mr. Haupert joined Miltonian in 2020 and comes with an extensive background in private banking and investment management. His primary role at Miltonian is to assist with portfolio management and trading activities while overseeing back office operations and compliance.

Before coming to Miltonian, Mr. Haupert was with a multi-family office in Santa Barbara where he was the Director of Operations and guided them through a comprehensive overhaul of their accounting and reporting platform. Prior to that he was a Senior Advisor with the L Capital Group, a private equity firm based in the Bahamas where he worked with companies in distress with “hands on” change management for a turn-around to profitability. During the 13 years leading up to this period, Mr. Haupert worked in Geneva, Switzerland as a quantitative analyst at the wealth managers Octogone Gestion and Alternative Investments, SA where he fulfilled the roles of portfolio construction, research, and trade execution.

Mr. Haupert holds a BS in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and has successfully completed the Series 65 exam.
